Privacy Policy

This policy applies to RogueChess (Android package id: com.roguechess.app), published on Google Play by Jisas Studio.

1. Introduction

This policy describes how the RogueChess app ("the App") handles information when you use it. RogueChess — Survival Chess — runs entirely on your device, built with Capacitor as its native layer. It does not require sign-up or an account.

2. Data we do NOT collect

We do not ask for or store your name, email, phone number, or any personally identifying information. Game progress (level, score, settings) is saved only on your device (local storage) and is never sent to any server of ours.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The Android version shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may collect and process data such as your device advertising identifier, approximate IP address, device information, and ad interaction data. This collection is carried out by Google, not by RogueChess. You can read how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

4. Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, before showing personalised ads we present a consent form managed by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP), in line with the GDPR. You can revoke or change your choice at any time from the App's settings.

5. Children

RogueChess is not primarily directed at children under 13. Ad content is limited to the "suitable for all audiences" (G) rating.

6. In-app purchases

The “remove ads” purchase is handled directly through Google Play Billing, with no third-party intermediary: we do not use RevenueCat or any other purchase-management service. The Studio never sees, receives, or stores your card or payment details; Google Play processes the payment and confirms the purchase to the App, which remembers it locally on your device to turn ads off.

7. Permissions

The App uses internet access and network state to load ads and verify purchases, and the advertising identifier (AD_ID) for AdMob to work. It does not access contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, or personal files.

8. Controlling your data

You can erase all progress from the game's settings or by uninstalling the App. You can reset or disable the advertising identifier from your Android device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The version in force, with its update date, will always be published here.
