// MURDOGRID Β· PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 8, 2026

1. Introduction

This policy describes how the MurdoGrid app ("the App") handles information when you use it. MurdoGrid is a spatial deduction puzzle that runs entirely on your device. It does not require sign-up or an account.

2. Data we do NOT collect

We do not ask for or store your name, email, phone number, or any personally identifying information. All your progress (solved cases, Daily Case streak, hints used, unlocked achievements, settings) is saved only on your device (local storage) and is never sent to any server of ours: MurdoGrid has no servers or databases of its own.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The Android version shows ads through Google AdMob (banner, interstitial, and a rewarded video in exchange for extra hints). To serve and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may collect and process data such as your device advertising identifier, approximate IP address, device information, and ad interaction data. This collection is carried out by Google, not by MurdoGrid. You can read how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

4. Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, before showing personalised ads we present a consent form managed by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP), in line with the GDPR. You can revoke or change your choice at any time from Settings β†’ Ad privacy options inside the App.

5. Children

MurdoGrid is not primarily directed at children under 13. Ad content is limited to the "suitable for all audiences" (G) rating.

6. In-app purchases (Google Play Billing)

The "Remove ads" purchase is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never receive your payment method; Google handles the transaction and links it to your Google Play account, which is also how the purchase is restored if you reinstall the App or switch devices. MurdoGrid does not use RevenueCat or any other payment intermediary.

7. Local notifications

If you grant permission, MurdoGrid schedules a single local reminder (via Android) 24 hours after you stop using the App, to alert you about your streak. Unlike other Jisas Studio games, this notification is created and cancelled entirely on your own device: it is not synced with any server of ours or with Firebase.

8. Permissions

The App uses internet access and network state to load ads and process purchases, and the advertising identifier (AD_ID) for AdMob to work. The notifications permission is used to show you the streak reminder (see point 7). It does not access contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, or personal files.

9. Controlling your data

You can erase all your progress from Settings β†’ New game or by uninstalling the App. You can reset or disable the advertising identifier from your Android device settings (Settings β†’ Google β†’ Ads). If you turn off the App's notifications from your device settings, we simply lose the ability to alert you β€” there is no data to delete on a server, because it never left your device.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The version in force, with its update date, will always be published here.
